Carpet Extractor Detergent
Carpet Extraction Detergent 3947 liquid extraction cleaner is a highly concentrated emulsifier for use with hot water extraction or steam cleaning machines.
Carpet Extraction Detergent 3947 loosens carpet soil so that it is easily picked up by the vacuum. The soils are carried to the recovery tank of a self-contained hot water extractor or to the dump site of a direct hook-up machine.
Carpet Extraction Detergent 3947 is a liquid extraction cleaner that mixes easily with hot water. At operating temperatures above 120 degrees this product will produce minimal foam.

This gentle detergent is safe to use on all carpet fibers. It will not leave a sticky residue to mask fabric sheen and promote re-soiling.
Carpet Extraction Detergent 3947 cleaner cleans thoroughly and sharpens colors to restore original beauty. Carpet Protector can be sprayed onto the clean carpet to reduce soiling during normal use and the need for frequent cleaning.
Directions For Use:
BEFORE USING ANY SPOTTER OR DETERGENT test a small inconspicuous area for dye stability and/or fabric deterioration. Read carefully all directions and warnings on each container.
Always vacuum carpet thoroughly before spotting or cleaning. Remove furniture from area to be cleaned or place carpet protectors beneath furniture legs - do not remove protectors until carpet is completely dry.
For Self Contained Units
• Mix 2 ounces of Carpet Extraction Detergent 3947per gallon of hot water. Pour this solution into the extractor's clean water tank and proceed with cleaning operation. Make a single pass over a one yard strip of carpet with the spray jets functioning. Go over the same area again using only the suction. Continue this procedure slightly overlapping the previously cleaned area to pick-up over-spray and obtain a uniform streak-free carpet.
For Direct Hook-Up Units
• Pour Carpet Extraction Detergent 3947full strength into machine dispenser. Connect machine to hot water source and to dump site. Start machine and adjust water and product flow so that after cleaning, carpet has a slight slippery feel. Approximately 2 ounces product per 100 square feet of carpeting.
Do Not Over Wet Carpet
• To thoroughly clean heavily soiled carpets, pre-spray with carpet cleaner.
 

Always pretest a small area before cleaning to insure discoloration does not occur.

Truck Mount: 1.5 to 2 cups per 5 gallons of water

Portable: 1/4 cup or less per 5 gallons of water. Insure product is dissolved thoroughly in hot water before pouring into machine.
